Facebook advertising is one of the best ways to connect your vacation rental property with a vast audience. The social media platform boasts 2.8 billion active monthly users and myriad opportunities for detailed targeting!
It gets pretty fun! The best part about that demographic exodus, is the influx of folks in the 35 - 65+ range. They are the ones who click on my ads the most, the matriarch of the family seems to be the largest demographic so far responding to my STR Ads.
So now here are some steps to start up your Facebook ads on your STR:
- You will need an ad account
- and a Facebook page for your business.
- I also recommend creating an Instagram profile (make it a ‘business’).
- You will need to create a “custom” URL for your Airbnb listing (under the listing section of Airbnb’s host site).
